Arts Award Supporter

Information on how we're supporting young people to achieve their Arts Award.

About

Arts Award is a range of unique qualifications that supports anyone aged up to 25 to grow as artists and arts leaders, inspiring them to connect with and take part in the wider arts world through taking challenges in an art form. We are an Arts Award Supporter and can help young people and their advisers with their Arts Award delivery of Discover Part B, Explore Part B, Bronze Parts B and C, Silver Unit 1 Part C and Gold Unit 1 Part C.

China Plate is an independent theatre studio based in Birmingham that works with artists, venues, festivals and funders to challenge the way performance is made, who it’s made by and who gets to experience it. We work with and produce an exciting array of award-winning artists including Caroline Horton, Chris Thorpe, Inspector Sands, Rachel Bagshaw, David Edgar, Sarah Punshon, and Urielle Klein-Mekongo. The company are also Associate Producers at Warwick Arts Centre where they develop and commission new work and producers of innovative development programmes including First Bite and Bite Size Festivals (supporting & showcasing work by Midlands artists).

A lot of our theatre and dance productions tour nationally and internationally to arts venues and village halls. Our work and festivals have been suitable for a variety of ages and so we can usually cater to supporting children and young people between 5 and 25

There is no additional cost to our Arts Award Supporter offer other than the cost of the activity you are interested in, eg. the show or the training opportunity.

For further info, please get in touch with Andrea.
