In just over a week Caroline Horton and Omar Elerian (Bush Theatre) will be venturing up to Birmingham to start rehearsals for her new solo production For The Little People that will be performed at Latitude and Greenbelt Festival.
For The Little People is inspired by Caroline’s highly controversial production Islands that premiered at The Bush earlier this year and will be heading to Edinburgh to be presented as part of the British Council Edinburgh Showcase 2015.
We’ll be able to tell you a lot more in a few weeks time, but for now, rest assured that it promises to be a furious, funny and filthy exploration of tax avoidance and the few who have it all.
To top it off, each performance will be followed by a Q&A about tax, chaired by Murray Worthy from Action Aid. Caroline and Omar will be joined by John Christensen from the Tax Justice Network, who advised Caroline and Omar throughout the development of Islands and Mike Truman, former editor of Taxation magazine. It’s going to be good!
Catch For The Little People at 4.45pm on Friday 17th July, The Little House, Latitude. The Q&A will start directly after the show at 5.30pm.
