Warwick Christmas Lectures 2026

Ho Ho Hold on… the award-winning Warwick Christmas Lectures return!

Join Ally Caldecote and some of our favourite scientists from the University of Warwick who are leaving their labs to entertain, inspire and amaze audiences. Bring family and friends, pull on a festive jumper and join us for two evenings of mind-boggling science and explosive experiments on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd December.

Live Labs with the Warwick Institute of Engagement will be in the foyer spaces from 6pm, so visitors can get up close and hands-on with real-life science before the Christmas Lectures begin.

  • Recommended for ages 7+
  • Wednesday 2nd December will be BSL interpreted

Please note the performances on both evenings are identical, with the same speakers and content.

Tickets can be booked via the Warwick Arts Centre website.

Free tickets available for schools and uniformed groups. Email [email protected] or contact the Warwick Arts Centre box office for more information and to book.

The Christmas Lectures is a collaboration between Warwick Arts Centre, University of Warwick’s Department of Physics and China Plate Theatre. With thanks to the Warwick Institute of Engagement for the Live Labs.
