Hull City of Culture 2017

China Plate were delighted to be one of the companies helping make 2017 an incredible year for the city of Hull. We worked as Programme Consultants shaping ‘Back to Ours,’ a brand new urban touring network working with community venues to create a touring festival that took place each half term throughout the year of culture.

One of the key legacy projects from the year of culture, Back to Ours is now an Arts Council Funded Creative People and Places project. It continues to thrive bringing a programme that delivers outstanding arts and cultural experiences with and for the people of Hull.
