China Plate’s development programmes offer artists and practitioners wide-ranging opportunities to develop productions, innovate their professional and creative practice and extend their industry networks.
Our programme of work includes The Optimists producer training programme and People Focused-Producing a free programme of training & development sessions, alongside bespoke development residencies, work in progress / showcase festivals, commissioning opportunities and strategic support for artists and the wider sector.
Opportunities are available for creatives starting out in the industry through to those developing work for midscale venues/audiences.
Visit our Young Producers page for training opportunities for 16-21 year olds, alongside RISE – an online careers event for early career and emerging creatives aged 18+.
